Fantastic guide! Very patient and knowledgeable. Helped me correct a major “hook setting” flaw I have had since I was little! Also helped me recognize different techniques and methods for catching Kokanee and lake trout!.

We went out with Robbie a couple weeks ago and had a AWESOME time!!! This was my 5 year old son’s first time fishing and he will not soon forget it! Went on my first ever guided anything with Robby from sportfishcolorado for kokanee salmon at Blue Mesa reservoir. It was worth every penny. Robby put in a full 6 hour day on the boat (and then at least another hour at the filet station) doing everything imaginable to make sure we had a good time and make sure we caught fish. We even had 3 on at once and he somehow managed to help us keep our line untangled. The kokanee’s are not overly huge but they are big enough and fat enough; they put up a great fight. We released several kokanee and trout including probably the biggest trout caught that day. There are so many wonderful things to say about our experience I could go on and on. Yea, it was that good. Just back from a ‘bucket list’ trip with Sport Fish Colorado. WOW!!! That about sums up the fun I had. Caught our limits in Kokanee salmon lead by our wonderful guide Robby.
