Went on my first ever guided anything with Robby from sportfishcolorado for kokanee salmon at Blue Mesa reservoir. It was worth every penny. Robby put in a full 6 hour day on the boat (and then at least another hour at the filet station) doing everything imaginable to make sure we had a good time and make sure we caught fish. We even had 3 on at once and he somehow managed to help us keep our line untangled. The kokanee’s are not overly huge but they are big enough and fat enough; they put up a great fight. We released several kokanee and trout including probably the biggest trout caught that day. There are so many wonderful things to say about our experience I could go on and on. Yea, it was that good.
